PR and Digital Marketing Coordinator
 Job Description:

Farmcrowdy is a global Agtech company focused on helping stakeholders in the food value chain maximize their output and increase their profits with technology.

In addition to the Farmcrowdy platform, the business is a custodian of other properties such as Agricsquare, Agric Radio, Barns & Silo, and Farmgate among others.

Role:

The PR and Digital Marketing Coordinator is to create, monitor, and manage creative and communication materials that represent Farmcrowdy and its property across all platforms.

Position Details:

Mode of Engagement:   Permanent

Reports to:   Senior Manager Agribusiness

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop and implement PR strategies
  • Create and distribute communication content (newsletters, press releases, company milestones, news, journals, company research papers, speeches, articles and annual reports etc.) to targeted media
  • Prepare and supervise production of publicity brochures, promotional videos, photo ops, and multimedia programmes
  • Cultivate relationships, maintain, liaise with, and answer enquiries from the media, individuals and other organisations
  • Source and manage opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, interviews, product features and advertising with relevant brands and/or media organisations
  • Schedule, organise and attend events including press conferences, exhibitions, farm visits, press tours, etc, on behalf of Farmcrowdy
  • Setup props or sets for photo-shoots and/or setup events such as a client meetings or a press briefing.
  • Coordinate maintaining and updating PR information on the organisation’s website and social media
  • Foster community relations by organising events such as stakeholders visits, office tours, involvement in community and CSR initiatives;
  • Support the sales and marketing activities of the company by devising advertising strategies to market the company’s product offerings
  • Manage brand reputation & PR of a potential crisis situation
  • Attend or setup exhibitions and conferences on behalf of Farmcrowdy
  • Planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising for Farmcrowdy’s brands and products
  • Maintaining Farmcrowdy’s social media presence across all digital channels
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
  • Design, build and maintain Farmcrowdy’s social media presence
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals(ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for Farmcrowdy’s brands and products
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests across product lines and projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience across all channels

Competencies

Ideal candidates for this role should have:

  • Strong command over content creation
  • Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices
  • Some experience with online marketing and lead generation
  • An understanding of formatting articles on the web
  • Socially adept
  • Ability to analyze and explain emerging social media trends
  • Knowledge of social media and online analytics (experience with Google Analytics or comparable tools)
  • Broad understanding of traditional and new media
  • Strong listening skills
  • Proofreading skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
